God willing, the Brother Marcus Show returns this Sunday, December
27, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. (EST), for a powerful discussion on Male /
Female Relationships. We all know that the late, great prophet of R
& B, Luther Vandross, sang: “There's a Rose in a fisted
Glove. And the eagle flies with the dove. And if you can't be with
the one you love… it's alright, Go ahead and love the one, love

Glove. And the eagle flies with the dove. And if you can't be with
the one you love… it's alright, Go ahead and love the one, love
the one, love the one your with!” Were you ever in a relationship
with someone whom you sincerely thought belonged exclusively to
you? Does this person ever cross your mind at anytime? Do you ever
wake up reaching out for them? What happens if you still miss your
ex after ten years has passed? Why does the love you had still stay
on your mind? Do you find yourself scouring Facebook and My Space
trying to find them again? Could you really love your ex better
than their new partner can? Can you truly be happy over your ex’s
new partner, or their success or happiness in life? Can you ever
truly love and give yourself to the one who you have right now who
came in “second place”? Has your ability to love again forever
been compromised? Could you find another soul mate or are you now
sadly singing, “I know, I’ll never love this way again…” Or
are you the one that left your ex because someone else along and
the grass looked greener on the other side? Are you regretting
doing that or do you feel that you made the right decision?

The Brother Marcus Show returned on December 20, for a very heavy
discussion on the topic of love. We discussed how many of us talk
about love but very few of us truly understand what love really is
and what love is supposed to turn on inside of its possessor? There
are thousands of love songs being played on the radio but why is it
so rare and elusive to see a man and a woman in love nowadays at
the close of 2009? Is love something that we should just sing about
but never experience for ourselves in our lifetime? What is the
quality of your love? Why is love accompanied by so much suffering?
Must you suffer to really manifest your love for someone else? How
can you tell if someone truly loves you and how do you know when
you truly love them? Do you know how to cultivate love in someone
else? Can you really love another human being if you don’t have
real true love for God? Has growing through this year caused you to
love God deeper and more profoundly? Why or why not? Did you take a
chance on loving anyone new this year? Are you too selfish and self
centered for love? Why have so many of us completely given up on
even the slightest possibility that they will ever be loved by
someone else? Are we becoming more loving as we have gotten older
or more hateful? Why does the Bible teach us in the Book of 1st
John 3:14, “We know that we have passed from death unto life,
because we love the brotherhood?” If this is true then are we
dead or alive? Since it is said that Jesus is the reason for this
season then who did Jesus love? Do you really have enough of the
love of Jesus in your heart to passionately serve those whom he
loved and loves in 2010? Love Women Understanding Relationships Men

God willing this Sunday at 8:00 p.m. (EST), The Brother Marcus Show
will return back to the airwaves with another powerful discussion
on what’s going on in our communities! One of the lyrics from the
great rapper, 50 Cent, in his latest song on his new album says,
"Have a baby by me, baby, be a millionaire. Well that may be true
for 50 Cent but the reality for many women today is, if they have a
baby by some of these males out here they may end up on welfare!
Even though 61 percent of welfare recipients in America are White
or Caucasian, when we say the word "welfare" most people
immediately see the image of some lazy Black female welfare queen
who breeds for profit. How come this hideous stereotype is alive
and well at the close of 2009? How do movies like, “Precious”,
which some are calling the worst depiction of black life yet done
help to perpetuate these black myths and stereotypes? What are your
real thoughts about welfare, public assistance or TANF? Should we
crackdown on these “horrible” little welfare cheats and ignore
these obscure and greedy Corporate Welfare Queens that pillage the
American treasury with every chance they get? Each year, U.S.
taxpayers subsidize U.S. businesses to the tune of almost $125
billion, the equivalent of all the income tax paid by 60 million
individuals and families! In these hard economic times, would you
accept food stamps if you really needed them or are you to proud?
Why are so many people from so called “affluent neighborhoods”
applying for public assistance as never before? Would you accept a
little help, if you could get it? Why does welfare spell farewell
to productive living for so many? Welfare Women Corporate

God willing this Sunday at 8:00 p.m.(EST), The Brother Marcus Show
will return back to the airwaves back with another in depth
discussion on Male / Female Relationships in our community. It’s
been called the secret weapon of women all over the world – A
woman’s incredible ability to break a man down through her tears!
Is it true that women cry more often than men? Do some women use
their tears as a form of emotional blackmail? Do men know what to
do when their wife or another woman starts to cry? How should a man
console an inconsolable woman? Should we both start crying
together? Do real men cry? Why or Why not? Does a woman’s level
of respect diminish for a man the more he cries? What are women
crying over in this day and time? Also this week we intend to cover
how at some point in a Male / Female Relationship, a man may
utilize one of his favorite secret weapons which is called, “The
Silent Treatment”. The most common reason that a man uses the
silent treatment tactic is to punish a woman for being a bad girl.
Why do women stay with men who are emotionally abusive that give
them the silent treatment for hours, days or even longer to punish
them? How should a woman react and respond to this kind of man? How
does a woman determine if this is actually just a “cooling off”
period and not the silent treatment? What is a better way for a man
to react to his frustrations with his wife, family or his life? Do
women even care anymore or are they actually happy when a man shuts
up and leaves them alone for awhile?Silent Treatment Women Crying
